Surveys are closely associated with the Patron choosing to support or sponsor the activity, and there are a wide variety of promotional opportunities available in this context. Surveys can be conducted to give the Patron deeper insights into trends and developments in particular sectors of interest, conducted at a broader level to increase the profile of the Patron and demonstrate industry leadership, or a combination of both.
Depending on the level of financial support, surveys can be conducted by web or email, or with phone interviews, mailed questionnaires, and/or focus groups. AIMIA will also partner with an appropriate research house or employ a rigorous and transparent research methodology when surveying existing members.
The survey results can either be made freely available or sold to AIMIA Members and the broader business community.
