Sam Davy, Former Global Creative Director of Apple Inc

Announced as the Keynote Speaker at the View 21 Conference

Melbourne - Wednesday 18 March, 2009


Sam Davy worked as a Global Creative Director for Apple, Inc in California for nearly six years, helping to build and lead the internal design and marketing group during the period of biggest growth in the company's history. Sam was responsible for launching and sustaining some of the worlds most anticipated products in some of the worlds most challenging markets. Sam currently splits his time between working with Apple Inc, China and Crumpler.

Joining Sam is Bruce Ramus as the closing keynote speaker. Bruce will talk about how media and moving images has evolved over the last 16 years in live entertainment, specifically the last four U2 tours. Showing images that illustrating the technology, the methodology and design philosophy. He will discuss the theories and practical considerations behind the designs and address what has be learned about the benefits and disadvantages of large-scale media installations, in a live music environment.

View 21: The New Business of Media Conference is the inaugural annual conference presented by AIMIA (Australian Interactive Media Industry Association) Victoria. View21 is designed for Victoria’s vibrant media sector, and is destined to become the pivotal annual event for those involved in the creation, monetisation and distribution of digital media.
