David Whittle, Managing Director, Mark
In May 2007 David launched Mark. This new agency combines the digital, direct and data marketing disciplines of M&C Saatchi. Conscious that marketing is now more a science than ever before, Mark is committed to developing infectious, indelible ideas that mark minds to elicit measurable behaviour.
Prior to the launch of Mark, David was busy not only overseeing the growth of M&C Saatchi Digital in Sydney, but also establishing and managing the digital teams in Melbourne, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles and New York.
David has a BA/BCOM from Deakin University with majors in Marketing, eCommerce, Public Relations and Sociology.
He has successfully led a Digital Agency of the Year team and been recognised by his peers, winning Victorian Young Direct Marketer of the Year in 2004 and in 2007 was the second youngest person included in the top 40 most influential people in the Australian Digital industry.

Oliver Weidlich, Mobile User Experience & Usability Specialist
Oliver draws on a background in psychology, experience in usability and understanding of mobile technology to identify key issues for client business strategy, and customers, and to recommend & design solutions. He has a wide range of experience evaluating and improving the end-to-end customer experience with mobile devices, portals, applications and content. Oliver has consulted to clients such as; Hutchison, Optus, Telstra, ninemsn, ABC, and RPO.
As part of the local mobile industry Oliver is playing a key role in the design and project management of the Australian Mobile Phone Lifestyle Index, which looks at mobile content usage in the local market, a project on behalf of the AIMIA Mobile Content Industry Development Group. He also co-hosts Mobile Monday Sydney, a mobile focused networking night.
In addition, Oliver is a judge, author and speaker on the mobile customer experience.

Viveka Weiley, User Experience Director, Sociable & Researcher, UTS Creativity and Cognition Studios
Viveka Weiley is an interaction designer and visualisation geek with a background in virtual worlds. He joined the Creativity and Cognition Studios at UTS in September 2006 to begin research into tools for distributed creative collaboration in mixed real/virtual environments.
Viveka has been working in the interactive media industry since 1994, primarily in telepresence and online communities. In 2002 he co-founded Ping, a geospatial virtual reality company. He is past chair of Sydney ACM SIGGRAPH and a member of the formation committee for the upcoming SIGGRAPH Asia conference series.
Viveka sports a Bachelor of Design from UNSW CoFA, and a B.Sci in Information Technology with First Class Honours and the University Medal from UTS. He is inspired by the work of Peter Morville on findability, Don Norman on user experience and Edward Tufte on information design. More recently he has been stealing ideas from Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Paul Dourish and Bill Buxton.

Cameron Wall, ICT Director, G-nius Mobile Intelligence
Cameron Wall has 20 years IT&T experience gained in Australia and the US. He has been working with the Internet Protocol since 1993 and in 1996 opened the first Internet Café in Australia. In late 1999, Cameron built one of the first industry Portal's for the trade and transport industry and various other Web projects including eCommerce platforms.
Since 2000, Cameron has focused mainly on the 4th screen specialising in mobile technology and messaging. He is the inventor and founder of the ZapMe mobile marketing platform and has also held positions with Bulletin Wireless, Telecom NZ/AAPT/Gen-i, and Connect. Cameron's experience lies in creating business solutions with ground breaking technology.

Wayn began his career in the field of Bioinformatics before focusing his attention on specializing in Search Engine Optimization and User Interface Design through his own Web Development Consultancy - Lucid Creations. Through Lucid Creations Wayn assisted Mostyle by enhancing the Mobile SEO capabilities throughout the Mostyle Platform. Wayn later joined Mostyle in early 2008 as Online Marketing Manager with the aim of fine-tuning Mostyle's User Experience and also to expand Mostyle's online global presence.

Jennifer Wilson, Principal, Lean Forward
Jennifer Wilson is the principal at Lean Forward, a company created to consult in the area of engaging consumer experience based on content or marketing concepts, mobile and online. Lean Forward will also be undertaking bespoke development in this area.
Prior to this, Jennifer was Head of Innovation for ninemsn. In this role, she investigated developments in engagement, interaction, social networking, user generated content and other new technologies and how these shape our online and mobile interactive futures. Jennifer conceived of new products and oversaw the development of some cutting edge new destinations.
Prior to this, Jennifer was Managing Director of HWW, content provider and developer of online and mobile sites under the yourTime™ banner; and builder of third-party content sites.
Jennifer is passionate about single, device-independent relationships with consumers; the power and influence of social networks; and 'soft' personalisation -providing a tailored, personalised experience to each consumer.
Jennifer has more than 20 years in interactive communications and digital marketing. She sits on the National Executive of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA).

Paul Whybrow, General Manager, Interactive TV Services
Paul has an extensive Broadcast, Online and Creative career
He spent 6 years at the BBC in London in a number of roles, from World Service Radio audio production, Network and Studio Directing, Promo Creation and Live Children's Television Production. He worked on the full range of BBC Television services including some of the pioneer work with BBC World service Television
In 1995 Paul came to Australia and joined the Seven Network as a senior Network Promo Producer. Here he launched a large number of new programmes and produced some of the key Network sales reels. One of which won a GOLD international Promax award.
Since paul joined FOXTEL he and his team have led a resurgence and growth in Interactive television with a focus on making iTV simpler and cheaper to create for channels. This has led to a doubling in the number of ACTIVE broadcast hours for channel event iTV, which includes Mosaic applications, voting, quizzess and other participation. Channel content iTV, is now used widely across the FOXTEL channels across all genres and is seen as a strong enhancement to help a TV highlight, especially a local australian production stand out from the crowd.
FOXTEL delivers many services working closely with it's channel partners and Austar. Paul laslast year hosted the first ever News limited iTV international conference.

Brian West, Managing Director - Burson-Marsteller Australia
As the Managing Director of the Australian office of global PR consultancy Burson-Marsteller, Brian West has almost 30 years of international experience in corporate and public affairs and issues/crisis management.
Brian has worked in a number of high-profile companies including a decade in-house for Comalco Aluminium Limited and CRA Limited (now Rio Tinto), before becoming a consultant for over 18 years for small, medium and large companies. During this time Brian ran the Australian and Asia Pacific operations for a global consultancy for more than 14 years.
Brian has also spent time at the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) as General Manager – Public Affairs and Communication and has significant experience in investor relations for listed companies. To add to this Brian has supported a number of takeover offers and defensive plays for investment bankers and individual companies; worked for finance and wealth management companies; and undertaken consumer education campaigns for the Commonwealth and State Governments.
In the area of issues and crisis management, Brian has managed the communication and relations programs with governments, media, unions, customers, employees and local communities during some of Australia’s highest profile incidents. He also project managed one of the largest company mergers in the history of the Africas, Middle East and Asia.

William Mulholland, Principal, William Mulholland & Co
William Mulholland has been working as a legal practitioner for over 8 years during which time he has acted for many SMEs and companies in the media sectors.
Before coming to the law he worked as a professional performer (with numerous stage credits to his name including the original Melbourne cast of “Cats”), political adviser, arts administrator and corporate head hunter.
As a commercial IP/IT lawyer, William uses his legal skills and knowledge to grow both his legal practice and professional speaking business. As a lawyer, he has assisted many clients deal with issues in the interactive media space as well as helping out with many commercial issues that face any business.

Mac Walker, Digital Director, Hyro
Mac Walker originally joined Hyro in 1995, and returned as Digital Director in 2008. He has worked in advertising, publishing and television since 1984, but moved into digital media from the early 1990s. Since 2000 he has worked mostly in telecommunications, media and digital strategy. Mac has held management and strategy roles in MSN, Ericsson, Vodafone Europe, Network 7, Telstra, 3 Australia and Optus. He holds a Masters of Business in e-Business from the University of Technology Sydney.
