Sydney, Australia | 28 September 2011 | Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced that HTC Corporation has chosen to implement a global roll out of Adobe® SiteCatalyst™, powered by Omniture®, the industry-leading web and online analytics solution. In an initiative to optimise HTC’s online customer experience, the company is proceeding with an extensive implementation following a successful program execution in the USA that used SiteCatalyst to gather actionable, real-time intelligence about visitor behavior and conversion from all online initiatives across multiple marketing channels.
John Starkweather, Global Director of Digital Marketing, HTC, said his company’s priority was to build brand value for its innovative products through a friendly and easy-to-use customer interface that delivered a consistent experience across all online channels. “We operate in an incredibly fast-moving sector,” he explained. “Growing so quickly in such a competitive space, it’s imperative for us to continue to invest in creating better customer experiences – whether that be across HTC.com, our communities on social platforms such as Facebook or YouTube, and through applications and services.”
“After significant evaluation and a successful implementation in the US market, we’re confident that Adobe SiteCatalyst will give us the insight we need across all of our markets globally, enabling us to remain in a leadership position by giving our customers more relevant information and engaging experiences,” said Mr Starkweather.
HTC’s project will see the company apply analytical software to understand how customers are engaging with the brand using apps, video and social media across a range of access technologies; from laptop to handheld devices like tablets and smartphones. The technology is applied to a range of interaction points, including the HTC Apps Store, the website and the HTC social media communities.
