In response to industry demand GreenBizCheck have created a comprehensive two day course covering environmental issues, trends, regulations, green change management and critical implementation.
With the carbon tax looming and pressure from staff, consumers and the supply chain for companies to become more sustainable, it can sometimes be overwhelming to know where to begin and how to establish change into your organisation.
The Corporate Sustainability Officer course has been created to address all levels and positions within an organisation who want to establish core knowledge to lead the organisation’s sustainability actions by learning the latest change management techniques to ensure staff engagement.
The course will be conducted by two University Professors Dr. Badin Gibbes who has over 15 years experience in the environmental management field and Dr. James Carlopio, a change management specialist who has worked with numerous Australian, European and US based organisations.
Specific topics covered will include; corporate action to date case studies, government regulation , overseas trends, carbon taxes, carbon offsetting, emissions trading, tools to take action, certifications and standards, steps for immediate action, commercial benefit of green business, emerging sustainable technologies and green change management action plans.
