The Annual AIMIA Awards are the longest running and most prestigious Awards in Australia's Digital Industry. Entries are judged by a panel of global industry experts, drawn from all facets of the interactive media industry.
Year after year the AIMIA Awards continue to grow in size and success. The entries are ever increasingly inspiring and the Awards night a dazzler, reflecting the truly unique and innovative industry we proudly represent.
Winners of the Awards will be announced and celebrated at the Digital Industry's Night of Nights at the Turbine Shed, Cockatoo Island in Sydney Harbour on Friday 18 March 2011. Ferries will be provided for transportation on and off the island.

Getting there:
There will be 2 ferries leaving from King Street Wharf to Cockatoo Island. For those of you unsure where Cockatoo Island is exactly, it is just in-between Balmain & Woolwich.
Ticket holders will be assigned either of the below ferry timings, please look at your tickets to determine which ferry you have been allocated:
VIP Ticket Holders Ferry Details:
King Street Wharf 1 to Parramatta Wharf
Captain Cook John Cadman II
Must arrive for 4.10pm for a prompt departure time of 4.30pm, arrives to Cockatoo Island at 5.00pm.
Ferry A Ticket Holders:
King Street Wharf 2 to Parramatta Wharf
Captain Cook John Cadman I
Must arrive for 5.40pm for a prompt departure time of 6.00pm, arrives to Cockatoo Island at 6.25pm.
Ferry B Ticket Holders:
King Street Wharf 2 to Parramatta Wharf
Captain Cook John Cadman II
Must arrive for 6.10pm for a prompt departure time of 6.30pm, arrives to Cockatoo Island at 6.55pm.
IMPORTANT: Tickets will be checked upon boarding the ferries.

Getting off the Island:
There will be 2 ferries returning to King Street Wharf from Cockatoo Island.
Timings:
EVERYONE - Parramatta Wharf to King Street Wharf
Ferry A – arrives 10:20, departs 10:35, arrives wharf 2 11:00
Ferry B – arrives 10:40, departs 10:55, arrives wharf 1 11:20

You and/or your company are welcome to book your own Water Taxis to and from the event but MUST let Grace Rowe at Splendid Communications know if you intend to do this. Failure to do so will result in water taxis NOT BEING GRANTED ACCESS TO THE ISLAND. Taxis MUST dock at Parramatta Wharf. Grace’s contact details are as follows:
