Annette’s career in ICT / Internet spans over 20 years and includes senior roles with major internationals, telecommunications and internet start-ups. In her current role Annette drives digital R&D initiatives across a client base of industry, academic and government partners, including Fairfax Digital, Austin Health, Suncorp and various agencies across the NSW State Government.
Annette was instrumental in the acquisition of partners to the CRC that led to a $30.8 million commonwealth grant and is currently directing a number of projects across digital media, education, health, financial services and government.
Annette has a strong background in direct, PR and brand marketing and a passion for user inspired digital content & services.
From 2009 - 2011 Annette volunteered her time on the AIMIA NSW State Chapter, including the last year as NSW President. During this time Annette initiated the group’s first business plan, developed and ran the Up Close and Digital series of events, defined and led the Digital Education & Training Project and the Membership Value Project.
Annette was the primary driver behind the industry proposal for Digital Sydney subsequently funded by NSW Industry & Investment.
Annette was elected to join the National Board of AIMIA in 2011 and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
